About This Course
This course is designed to build on algebraic and geometric concepts. It develops advanced algebra skills such as systems of equations, advanced polynomials, probability and statistics, imaginary and complex numbers, quadratics, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, and concepts that include an introduction to the study of trigonometric functions. It also introduces matrices and their properties. The content of this course is important for a student’s success on both the ACT and SAT math portions. It also helps each student to ready themselves for future college courses or career choices.
